Preparation and absorption performance of CNTs/PUR honeycomb composite absorbing material

Abstract In this paper, a carbon nanotubes/polyurethane resin (CNTs/PUR) honeycomb composite absorbing material was prepared, and the influence of content nanotubes on performance single-layer double-layer materials investigated. The mechanical properties are discussed. core compounded together by impregnation method to form CNTs/PUR material. microstructure shows that uniformly dispersed in water-based polyurethane resin, impregnated layer wall well combined. reflectivity as increases, absorption first increases then decreases; when is 5.6%, has best performance. effective bandwidth 10.6 GHz (2~18GHz), maximum strength -24.5 dB; combination mode 2-4, good performance, -32.2dB, 13.7GHz (2~18GHz).
